Course Duration

This course is designed to include lectures and interactive sessions, and will be completed within One Day (9AM-5PM).

Module 1: Foundations of IFRS S1 and S2

November 2nd 8PM-10PM

Understand the role of the ISSB and why IFRS S1 and S2 matter globally and locally.
Learn the common disclosure pillars: governance, strategy, risk management, metrics and targets.
Explore how S1 sets general sustainability requirements and how S2 focuses on climate risks and opportunities.
Review examples of disclosure expectations relevant to Bangladesh

Module 2: Applying IFRS S1 and S2 in Practice

November 3rd 8PM-10PM

Learn to map existing organizational data to IFRS S1 and S2 requirements.
Understand how to prepare a disclosure checklist for governance, strategy, risk, and metrics.
Discuss common gaps in Bangladeshi company disclosures and how to address them.

Self-paced, Online

An end of the course online exam will be taken to assess your understanding on the topic as a pre-requisite to receive the certificate and a Transcript.
